Spray Foam Roof Coatings
Wedge Roofing installs ENERGY STAR® and Cool Roof Rating Council (CRRC) approved roof coatings on all new Spray Foam Roof systems as a protective roof coating to shield the roof surface from ultraviolet induced degradation and to maintain the roof reflectivity, reducing energy usage in compliance with California’s Title 24 standards.
Flat and Sloped Roof Coatings
Cool Roof Coatings can also be applied as a reflective roof coating on Single Ply Roofs, Built-up Roofs, Metal Roofs, and Steep-sloped roofs to reduce energy costs and to meet Title 24 standards.
Low VOC, High-Grade Silicone Roof Coatings
All roof coatings installed by Wedge Roofing are low-VOC, high-grade Silicone roof coatings tested for longevity. These low-VOC roof coatings are in strict accordance with the emission requirements established by the Bay Area Air Quality Management District. Wedge Roofing’s Silicone roof coatings are 96% solid, which means the roof coating remains on the roof without evaporation or wicking into the atmosphere. As the Cool Roof Coating manufacturer’s’ trained and approved contractor, Wedge Roofing’s installation meets the specific application procedures and requirements.
Roof Re-Coating
Spray Foam Roofs and other roof systems with reflective properties require scheduled re-coating of the Cool Roof Coatings to protect the roof membrane from ultraviolet (UV) induced degradation and maintain the reflectivity of the roofing system.
The frequency of Cool Roof re-coating applications is dependent upon many factors, including the original application specification, roof assembly system, geographical location, and the manufacturer’s recommendations.
