Low-VOC, High-Grade Silicone Roof Coatings
All roof coatings installed by Wedge Roofing are low-VOC, high-grade silicone roof coatings tested for longevity. These low-VOC roof coatings are in strict accordance with the emission requirements established by the Bay Area Air Quality Management District. Wedge Roofing’s silicone roof coatings are 90% solids, which means the roof coating remains on the roof without evaporation or wicking into the atmosphere. As the manufacturer-trained and approved roof coating contractor, Wedge Roofing’s installations meet the manufacturer’s specific application procedures and requirements.
Roof Recoating
Spray foam roofs and other roofing systems with reflective properties require scheduled recoating of the cool roof coatings to protect the roof membrane from ultraviolet (UV) degradation and maintain the reflectivity of the roofing system.
The frequency of the recoating depends on several factors, including the original application specifications, roof assembly system, geographic location, and the manufacturer’s recommendations.
