“We recently needed to replace our home’s roof, a challenging project because of its many valleys, steep pitch, and installed solar panels. We solicited bids from four companies serving our area, but the proposals varied widely in both price and scope. Only two companies would handle the removal and reinstallation of the solar panels. Two planned to use subcontractors whose work they would not guarantee, and one based its bid on a satellite image, with the price subject to adjustment after we paid a non-refundable deposit. That left Wedge Roofing, which turned out to be a great choice for us.
From the initial sales and scoping visit, we could tell we were working with the right partner. Wedge’s bid was very competitive with those from the other three companies, and the team delivered equally strong service. They arrived on time each day, they kept us informed throughout the process and left the yard clean at the end of every workday. Their attention to detail showed in roof jacks painted to match the shingles, neatly installed flashing, and a yard where we found zero nails. The team stayed until they confirmed that every solar panel was producing the expected output.”
