After considerable research, I decided I wanted to replace my aging redwood shake roof with stone-coated metal.Without wading into the pros and cons of that decision, I think everyone agrees that metal roofs are more complex and difficult to install than almost any alternative. Cutting, bending, aligning and piecing it all together with almost 10,000 screws is no easy task.

After deciding on metal my biggest concern was finding a roofing contractor with the experience and commitment to meet what I thought and still think was a daunting project. I researched and interviewed many.

While that must certainly have pleased Wedge I always felt like it was my expectations and views that were paramount. I could not be more pleased with the results. I suspect I will always look at that roof with a measure of gratitude for Wedge. If Gerard’s stone-coated metal is even half as good as Wedge’s installation of it, that should be a long time.”
