Sonoma Church Custom Copper Steeple and GAF Roof Installation
Wedge Roofing installed a custom built standing seam copper metal roof on the steeple of the First Baptist Church, located at 542 1st Street East in Sonoma, California. This copper installation was designed to complement the historic architecture while offering long-lasting performance and weather protection. As part of the restoration, the original weather vane and cross were carefully reinstalled to preserve the church’s traditional profile.
In addition to the steeple, a new Class A fire-rated GAF shingle roof was installed on the main building. This roofing system enhances fire safety and durability while maintaining visual continuity with the church’s structure.
