This internationally recognized testing certification verifies the demonstrated expertise, essential knowledge, skills, and abilities inherent in the highest class of Spray Foam Roofing Professionals.
The program offers four levels of certification for Spray Foam Roofing. To achieve the next level of certification, the applicant must meet the experience requirements and successfully pass all written and field tests.
Spray Foam Roofing Certification Levels
Spray Foam Roofing Assistant contributes to the roof installation with non-spraying tasks while learning the basics of spray foam roofing. Testing includes Spray Foam knowledge and safety.
Spray Foam Roofing Apprentice Level Installer is trained in the proper installation techniques, under the guidance of a certified master installer or project manager.
- Testing includes job set up procedures, substrate preparation, start-up procedures, installation methodology, and coating applications.
- The applicant must have a minimum of 100,000 documented square feet of spray foam roofing experience.
- OSHA Certification required
Spray Foam Roofing Advance Level Master Installer has extensive experience with various spray foam roofing applications and roof coatings. This includes health & safety, job planning, set-up procedures, substrate preparation, foam installation methodology, coating installation, and equipment management.
- Testing includes pre-job planning, troubleshooting and repairs, maintenance and renewal, spf equipment, coating equipment, and field testing.
- The applicant must have a minimum of 500,000 documented square feet of spray foam roofing experience.
- OSHA and CPR certification required.
Spray Foam Roofing Project Manager has met all of the qualifications for the previous certifications and exhibits a vast knowledge in the management of all aspects of spray foam roofing. This includes building design, estimating and material usage, testing standards, building codes, material design and selection.
- Testing includes spray foam estimating, codes and standards, material design and selection, and roofing fundamentals.
- The applicant must have a minimum of 500,000 documented square feet of spray foam roofing project management experience.
- OSHA and CPR certification required.
