Wedge Roofing was established in 1976 by Ralph Wedge, under whom it is still owned and operated. Headquartered in Petaluma, we are located right between Marin and Sonoma Counties, allowing us to service the entire Bay Area efficiently. We are proud of our good name and have maintained thousands of satisfied customers.

Wedge Roofing holds several licenses, which allows us to offer our clients the entire range of general contracting and more. We hold B (General contracting), C-39 (Specialty classification roofing), C-43 (Sheet-metal) and C-2 (Interior insulation) classifications. This array of licensing not only illustrates the breadth of our company's experience, but we can also build or install any type of roof required in your home, and are flexible enough to offer our contracting expertise to any other part of your building project as general contractors. Imagine being able to rely on the same contractor to re-roof, interior-insulate and build a new deck for your home! We use high-efficiency materials designed to be the most long-lasting and cost-efficient on the market.

We are not assembly-line roofing installers. Each project we take on is treated properly as a custom roofing assignment, built with skill and great attention to detail. Wedge Roofing, Inc. is the only Marin/Sonoma county contractor to have two nationally-recognized NRCA (National Roofing Contractors Association) certified, SpecRight professionals. Ralph Wedge and General Manager Gary Harvey completed extensive training and testing to achieve this accreditation. What's more, Wedge Roofing employees attended a rigorous Green-builder certification course, and we are now certified 'Build It Green' contractors.

Ralph Wedge, as a founding member and current Treasurer of the IRCC (Independent Roofing Contractors of California) was instrumental in establishing and monitoring a federally and state-recognized Roofing Apprenticeship program. This guarantees that the personnel assembling your roof system are all verifiable, card-carrying journeymen or are enrolled apprentices working under professional journeymen.
